The Position: We’re looking for Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:

The candidate should be able to develop and maintain software for the maritime business. Responsibilities of the role includes designing and writing web applications and microservices, unit testing and software documentation. A successful candidate should have a continues learning, sharing and team spirit mentality and will be working in an agile environment.

The Location:SRH Marine Group is based in Piraeus, Attica.

Requirements:

Must have

• Degree (AEI or TEI) in Computer science, Informatics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or relevant fields.

• 1+ year of experience with Java

• Some experience on working with Relational Databases and MySQL

• Some experience working with RESTful APIs

• Enthusiastic attitude and strong team spirit

• Excellent command of Greek and English language.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring boot framework

• Previously working on telecommunications and/or maritime company

• Experience with RabbitMQ and event-based architecture

• Experience with NoSQL (Redis, Cassandra etc)

• Basic understanding and knowledge of Satellite communications

• Some experience working in agile environment
